HERTZ SANTANDER AIRPORT

Santander Airport is situated 3 miles from the port-city of Santander on the north coast of Spain. The airport is situated in an area called Parayas which accounts for the little-used alternative name for the airport: Santander - Parayas. It is a relatively small airport and although passenger numbers have increased year-on-year in the first 10 years of the 21st century, they are still just below 1 million. International flights to Santander Airport are currently provided by the budget airline, Ryanair, who offer services from airports throughout Europe including London - Stansted in the United Kingdom. The airport terminal at Santander is laid out on two floors with the Check-In, Arrivals and Departures all situated on the ground-floor. Passenger services in the terminal include shops, cafes, bars and restaurants as well as other facilities including a chapel, post box, banks and lost property. There is a large car park in front of the Santander Airport Passenger Terminal which is partially covered and also houses rental vehicles in the area nearest to the terminal building.

Hertz provide car hire services from Santander - Parayas Airport and their offices are located in the Arrivals Area of the Passenger Terminal. Arriving passengers will find the Hertz desk immediately on their right as they exit the Baggage Claim. There is a rental vehicle car park immediately in front of the terminal building in the main car park. The Hertz fleet at Santander includes vehicles ranging from small economy hatchbacks to large executive saloons and estate cars.
