located about 6 miles south west of Malaga on the
Costa del Sol, Malaga Airport is on of Spain's busiest
airports. The airport handles around 13 million
passengers each year, the majority of which are
holiday-makers visiting the Costa's superb beaches
and holiday resorts including Malaga, Torremolinos,
Benalmadena, Marbella and Estepona. The airport
has excellent communications with the resorts along
the coast via the A-7 Motorway. A large proportion
of the airport's air traffic is from Britain and
